Rick Smith is GlobalMeet’s VP of Global Sales.\u00a0 Leading the teams that service worldwide customer relationships, Smith leverages his 20 years of experience driving profitable revenue growth at large, publicly traded software companies to help customers and partners achieve better business outcomes and return on investment with GlobalMeet\u2019s streaming-as-a-service technology. Rick is responsible for driving sales strategy, expanding market presence, and fostering a culture of collaboration between our customers and our experienced event professionals.<\/div>

Prior to joining GlobalMeet, Smith served as VP of Sales at AI, IoT, cloud, and automation provider FPT Software. Previously, he served as Director of Enterprise Sales South at Zoom, and held key commercial leadership positions at Sprinklr, Salesforce, Oracle, and Hewlett-Packard, consistently delivering exceptional revenue growth and market expansion results. Smith earned his MBA from Eastern University and a B.A. from Shippensburg University.<\/div>

Rick grew up in Philadelphia and currently lives in Dallas with his wife and two teenage children.\u00a0 \u00a0With deep roots in the local community, Smith currently serves on the GSES Advancement Committee and the Sanfilippo Foundation\u200b. His dad is a former CEO of a company he built from the ground up. Rick’s hobbies include coaching, running, and lacrosse while enjoying being a fan of a wide range of
